Jenson Button affirms that he is very happy about his future with Honda Racing following the arrival of Ross Brawn as the new team principal.
Speaking on the Autosport Awards stage, where he presented trophies to young kart drivers, Button stated that he hoped Brawn’s arrival would herald the beginning of a new era.
« The future looks very good. I don’t think I need to give advice to Ross because his results speak for themselves. » He stated.
« As a team, we have been good over the past few years. Nick Fry and the entire team have done a good job in terms of team management. »
« But on the technical level, we were missing something, and Ross is capable of fulfilling this role to fill the gaps. »
« I am excited about the bright future ahead of us, and this feeling makes things even more thrilling. 2008 will be a better year, but we shouldn’t stop at just the 2008 season. We must look at the future in a different way, and I am very happy, » concluded the Briton.
