Saturday: Force India is not where it should be!

The Indian team Force India experienced a more complicated second day than the first. Hopes were high yesterday, and the third free practice session confirmed them. Unfortunately, Fisichella and Sutil could not achieve better than a last row, still under the impact of extremely competitive opponents. The gaps, however, are small.

Adrian Sutil – 17th and 18th (qualified 19th):

« We knew it was going to be difficult today. We couldn’t find a perfect balance due to a lack of support on the car. Despite this, we should be more competitive tomorrow during the race. We need to finish without incident, we’re reliable, and maybe that will be an advantage tomorrow. »

Giancarlo Fisichella – 18th and 20th:

Today, we were better than yesterday, but still not quite as we should be. We lack grip, especially in low-speed corners. This race might be difficult, but we want to finish the race first and then focus on Bahrain. We need a good strategy and we’ll try to do what we can.

Dominic Harlow – Chief Race Engineer:

« The drivers complained about the balance of the VJM02 and therefore the grip on the track. Over a lap, the performance was not there. These positions do not truly reflect our performance, and I believe we can be better in the race. »
