The F1 world champion, Jacques Villeneuve, has created a driving school in partnership with the ICAR (International Club Académie Racing) complex in Montreal.
The Canadian will use this track to transmit his passion for racing to young adolescents, hoping they will become future drivers.
« Creating my own driving school is an excellent opportunity to somewhat return to the world of racing, » said Villeneuve, Formula 1 world champion in 1997.
« I chose the ICAR circuit because of its ultra-modern infrastructure, its vision, and its values that align with mine. »
« With ICAR, my goal is to share my passion for racing and increase the level of experience for racing fans worldwide, whether they are beginners or experienced. »
« The Jacques Villeneuve Academy will offer a wide range of programs and packages for all budgets. »
The president of ICAR, Marc Arseneau, added: « We are delighted that Jacques Villeneuve has chosen to partner with ICAR to create the Jacques Villeneuve Academy. This partnership only confirms the key role that ICAR plays in the development of motorsports in Quebec. »
