The Fan-F1 Ranking

There is certainly an official ranking in Formula 1 that allocates points according to the importance of the positions achieved, that is, with a decreasing scale of two by two for the top three places. 10 points for the winner, 8 for the second, and 6 for the third.

This scale only rewards drivers who finish in the top eight, and drivers consistently in the top 10 (9th and 10th, for example) are never acknowledged, even though this position is almost as important as an eighth position, which typically awards a point.

To rectify the situation, casinoenlignefrance.eu.com invents the regularity ranking: Each driver receives a point according to their reverse order of arrival, provided they have crossed the checkered flag. In case of abandonment, they receive no points. The first receives 22 points, the second 21, the third 20, etc… The 22nd, if there is one, will therefore receive only one point.

Ultimately, we obtain a ranking based on the finishing position in each race, showing each participant’s consistency and rewarding the driver for the work they contribute to the team, not just based on their position.

This week, no change for the top three with Button, Barrichello, and Glock having 108, 97, and 84 points respectively. The British driver is therefore the first to surpass the 100-point mark. Webber (+1 place) moves ahead of Hamilton, who is joined by Alonso (+1 place) thanks to their good result in Barcelona. They are 4th, 5th, and 6th with 80, 77, and 77 points.

Next, we find three Germans in the 7th to 9th positions. Rosberg stays steady while Heidfeld and Vettel gain a place. Trulli drops from 6th to 10th place with 59 points. The same goes for Bourdais, who falls from 9th to 11th due to his dropout in Barcelona. Two Brazilians follow with Piquet (+2 places) ahead of Massa (+4 places) with 41 and 40 points.

Actually, it’s very close since the three following drivers have 39, 38, and 37 points from 14th to 16th place. They are Räikkönen (-2 places), Fisichella, and Buemi (-3 places). Finally, a little further back, there’s Kovalainen, then Kubica, and even further back, Nakajima and Sutil with 21 points.
