The French judicial authorities will announce on Wednesday the verdict of the case in which Ferrari is seeking an injunction to prevent the FIA from introducing a budget cap in Formula 1 in 2010.
The representatives of the Italian team and the governing body appeared before the Paris court today, Tuesday. The hearing lasted for one hour. The team based in Maranello is attempting to force the FIA to reverse its decision to introduce a budget cap of 40 million pounds (over 45 million euros) for next season.
A representative of the French court announced Tuesday afternoon that the decision will be announced tomorrow, Wednesday, at 14:00.
The FIA has already declared its intention to appeal if Ferrari wins the battle, which will further extend the procedure.
