The former Formula 1 driver, Adrian Campos, is the first to submit an application for entry into the 2010 Formula 1 championship this Friday.
The Spaniard submitted his application for the next season just one minute after the official application window opened.
The application window has officially been open since midnight and will remain open until Friday, May 29th, at midnight.
The team confirmed its official entry in a statement, but without any details about the team.
Adrian Campos managed a GP2 team until the end of last season, after selling it to a Spanish businessman. A few years earlier, he ran his marque in the World Series by Renault.
More than 10 teams have already expressed interest so far in entering Formula 1 next season. For now, only one team has officially submitted its application. USF1, through the New York Times, is expected to officially announce its entry tomorrow.
