Kimi Räikkönen is convinced that his team Ferrari will win races this season, following the rather promising performance of the Scuderia at the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Italian team endured a rather sad start to the year, but seems to have turned the page after the introduction of a new package in Spain.

Räikkönen achieved the first podium of the season in Monaco for his team while Felipe Massa returned home in fourth. This is, of course, the best result of the season for all the parties involved.

The Finnish driver openly admitted to being disappointed with his third place. He believes Ferrari can win again.

« I wasn’t too satisfied with my third place at the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s true that it’s the best result in a very long time, but it wasn’t enough for me and we know we can reach first place, » said Räikkönen.

« When the championship leaders are so far down the standings at the end, it’s a win that counts. Being back on the podium is a nice reward for the whole team. The hard work of the past weeks is finally paying off, which is really positive for all of us. »

« We know that we are on the right track. There are still a few small things to do, but sooner or later we will win. »

« We will see new improvements on the F60 for the upcoming races, and we hope to challenge the current leaders in Qualifying and in the Race, » concluded the 2007 champion.
