The Renault team will start a new sponsorship program with MegaFon, starting from the Turkish Grand Prix this weekend.
The partnership, which will run for the remainder of the season, sees the Russian telecommunications company in Formula 1 for the first time.
The name MegaFon, as well as the logo, will be visible on the suits of the drivers, Fernando Alonso and Nelsinho Piquet, for the first time in Istanbul, as well as on the R29, near the rear wheels.
« Russia is a market with significant and growing interests for the global economy, therefore very important for Formula 1, » said Flavio Briatore.
