The FIA has confirmed the names of the 13 teams that will take part in the 2010 Formula 1 championship. Just earlier on this Wednesday, an agreement was reached between the governing body, the International Automobile Federation, and the FOTA (Formula One Teams Association).
After a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Paris, the FIA decided to accept the FOTA manufacturers to enter its championship. The idea of the eight teams was to create their own series.
This development in the case means that the 10 current teams are now registered for next year, along with three new teams already known since Friday, June 12. These are Campos Meta, Manor Grand Prix, and USF1.
