Every work deserves a reward. That’s why the Force India team still hopes to score its first point. They deserve it considering the performances of the drivers in the recent races. Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil found themselves just a few seconds away from 8th place, synonymous with scoring a point.

However, caution will be needed in Germany since Force India will not bring new parts compared to Silverstone where the overall level was very good. A weakness that Sutil will compensate for by the fact that this race is his home Grand Prix, and he will be eager to please his fans.

Giancarlo Fisichella – Racing Driver

« The Nurburgring is a big circuit. There are a lot of curves and you can overtake in a few corners, which is obviously an advantage for us if we are again in the midfield. This time, what I want is Q2 in qualifying. It must be possible, and with a better starting position, we hope to be able to finish higher in the final standings. We are so close to the points, I really want to score some right now! For the team, it would be a huge boost. Everyone is working very hard and being so close to achieving it is a bit frustrating. »

Adrian Sutil – Racing Driver

« Q2 would be very nice and I hope it will be enough to score some points. It would be time to score a few. Let’s wait and see what updates the other teams have made. It would be wise to wait a bit because we don’t have an update this time. But we were quite strong at Silverstone and I’m expecting something similar in Germany. »

Vijay Mallya – President and Team Principal:

There was some time between Silverstone and the German GP, which is why the team at the factory worked very hard to consolidate our progress made during the last race. We will keep a new wing used in Great Britain. The updates from Silverstone have strengthened our overall performance. We hope this will bring points in Germany. Giancarlo [Fisichella] was very close to doing so three weeks ago. Adrian [Sutil], at home in Germany, would like to have a good race.
