Rubens Barrichello let his anger erupt a few hours after the German Grand Prix. He realized that his team’s decisions deprived him of any chance of victory on Sunday.
The Brazilian is furious about his sixth place at the Nurburgring because he feels that the strategy and errors by Brawn GP provided great entertainment but lost the race.
He even stated that he wasn’t interested in listening to what the team had to say during the post-race debrief because it would simply be blah, blah, blah!
Arriving in the United States on Monday, Barrichello wrote on his Twitter account that the race changed his view of the situation.
« Since Sunday I’ve been upset, but I’m not anymore. I couldn’t have won the race because the Red Bulls were half a second faster per lap, but third place was possible without any issues. »
Barrichello made it clear to his fans that he would continue to focus all his attention on the title.
I will fight for the title until mathematically they tell me otherwise. I promise. Monday was a tough day but it’s better now.
