Friday: Red Bull makes its small adjustments

The Red Bull team didn’t create sparks on the first day at the Hungaroring track in Hungary. The team also didn’t miss the appointment. Mark Webber was the driver set to finish 4th today. He did so during both practice sessions despite a handicap. He suffered a hydraulic issue with his RB5 late in the morning. But he knows since his victory in Germany two weeks ago that anything is possible!

For his part, Sebastian Vettel was rather slow today with a gentle start since he was only 15th this morning with a poor balance on his car. Things improved after lunch as he finished 6th, just a few lengths behind his teammate.

Mark Webber – 4th and 4th:

« We’ve had a good day so far. The atmosphere in Budapest is fabulous, everyone is very warm. The car seems to be good for now. We will see tomorrow the fuel loads of the cars. We have a bit of work to do on the car but, in general, it was quite a positive day with an exception towards the end of the second session with a hydraulic problem. »

Sebastian Vettel – 15th and 6th:

« Hot, hot this Friday, obviously, the sun is in Hungary. It’s hot in the car, but it’s okay. Overall, I think we’re still struggling to find the perfect balance, I’m not yet enjoying it 100%, so we need to carefully examine certain elements tonight to see where we stand. We hope we can take a step forward tomorrow and then it will be business as usual for the qualifying. I think they are much more important here than in previous races. Other teams are very competitive, it’s up to us to see! »
