The four-time world champion, Alain Prost, does not rule out collaboration with Jean Todt if the former Ferrari boss is selected as the FIA president.
Todt announced his candidacy for the FIA presidency in October. He is the second to do so after the former world rally champion, Ari Vatanen.
Prost believes that Todt is the right person for the job and admits that he would be happy to work with him if the opportunity arose.
Jean Todt would be an excellent president, even though today F1 seems unhappy with his candidacy, Prost stated in the columns of Autosprint magazine.
« Yes, if the required conditions are met to justify a role within the FIA, for me, then it would be a pleasure. Working alongside Todt, why not? It’s a possibility we have talked about. We will see in the coming months. »
