Michael Schumacher paid a brief visit to his former teammate and protégé Felipe Massa on Saturday at Budapest’s AEK Hospital.
The seven-time world champion is testing a F2007, thanks to Ferrari’s Clienti department, as he prepares to replace the Brazilian in Valencia next month for the European Grand Prix.
His visit lasted 30 minutes at the hospital and he did not stop to speak to the press.
The former Ferrari boss, Jean Todt, also visited Massa in Budapest on Saturday morning, arriving separately with Schumacher.
Massa’s personal doctor, Dino Altman, has already confirmed that the driver will leave the hospital on Monday to return to his home in Brazil by private plane.
