Photos are undoubtedly the best way to closely study the details of a Formula 1 car and to understand the aerodynamic innovations implemented by engineers. There’s no need to be an expert to assess a new wing.
For Monza, a very fast track (the fastest of the season) with very sharp turns, the cars will tend to favor top speed. The wings are set to a minimum, logos disappear, but the stabilizing winglets pop up all over the place…
Like last week, BMW has the shark fin. Force India is still making changes while all teams modify their front and rear wings.
Today’s photos obviously pertain to Free Practice 3 and the three qualifying sessions.
