The photos of the 2009 Italian Grand Prix are available in the “Photos” section. Formula 1 will make a stop this weekend on the 13th circuit of the season, which will include 17. All eyes are thus turned to the Monza circuit, the temple of speed and home of the Scuderia Ferrari.
Photos are undoubtedly the best way to closely study the details of a Formula 1 car and to understand the aerodynamic innovations implemented by the engineers. There’s no need to be an expert to assess a new wing.
For Monza, a very fast track (the fastest of the season) with very sharp turns, the cars will tend to prioritize top speed. The wings are adjusted to the minimum, the logos disappear, but the fins to stabilize the cars pop up everywhere…
Like last week, BMW has the shark fin. Force India is still making changes while all teams are modifying their front and rear wings.
Today’s photos are about the race and the podium. Also check out the pits and refueling.
