« Last year, the Singapore Grand Prix was the first night race and it was a huge success. Singapore is a major hub in Asia and having a race here is beneficial for enhancing Bridgestone’s brand awareness in the region. We look forward to visiting Singapore once again. »
« In 2008, it was the first time we went to Singapore and we learned a lot. It’s an urban circuit, so we will observe the evolution of the surface. The track is first cleaned by city cars and then rubber is laid down by the F1 single-seaters, which means better grip. This makes finding a good setup difficult since the track condition changes. »
« There are the usual considerations for a place like this. This means we bring the softest tires from our range. Last year we saw that the track was very bumpy. This adds an extra condition for suspension settings. »
