Photos from the third and final day of the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix are available in the “Photos” section. Formula 1 makes a stop this weekend on the 14th circuit of the season. It is also the first Asian Grand Prix after a tour in Europe. As a nighttime circuit, all the lights are projected onto Singapore’s Marina Bay. There is something for everyone.
Photos are undoubtedly the best way to closely study the details of a Formula 1 car and understand the aerodynamic innovations implemented by engineers. There’s no need to be an expert to assess a new wing.
For Monza, a square and rather slow track with very tight turns, the cars will tend to prioritize grip. The circuit is also urban and slips a lot during the first trials. Aerodynamics are therefore very important here.
Just like last week, BMW has the shark fin. But not only that. Like many other teams (Toyota, Ferrari), BMW arrives here with an entirely new package. The diffuser is changed, the front and rear wings are still just as complex.
In terms of colors, it’s within the Renault clan that you should look. The diamond loses sponsors and no longer displays them. As a result, the free space is occupied by “Renault” logos.
Also find images of the podium with a Renault driver for the first time this season. Toyota, for its part, has climbed onto a podium for the 4th time this year.
Today’s photos obviously focus on the podium and the race.
