Glock returns to his place in the cockpit

Timo Glock will be back behind the wheel of his TF109 for the rest of the Japanese Grand Prix, after recovering. Yesterday, Friday, he was too ill to participate in the free practice sessions 1 and 2. The German was forced to miss the opening day as he was suffering from a high fever. He was replaced at short notice by Toyota’s reserve driver, Kamui Kobayashi.

Glock is now in good health and joins Toyota for the rest of the event at the Suzuka circuit.

He will not be at much of a disadvantage compared to his rivals since the first day of testing at Suzuka was heavily disrupted by rain and few tests were carried out by the entire field.
