The photos from the 2009 Japanese Grand Prix are available in the “Photos” section. Formula 1 made a stop this weekend on the 15th circuit of the season. It’s the first time in three seasons that the Formula One Circus stops at Suzuka. Home of Honda, the circuit will have to do without the Japanese team. It’s up to Toyota to show their teeth, and Trulli seems to have done the job. The pictures are there to prove it, and there’s something for everyone.

Photos are undoubtedly the best way to closely study the details of a Formula 1 car and understand the aerodynamic innovations implemented by the engineers. There’s no need to be an expert to assess a new wing.

In Suzuka, a track seen as one of the best in the world according to many drivers, you have to love tight corners. The downforce is relatively high, but more than that today, one had to rely on their sense of balance. It rained a lot, and the soaked track makes you want to take a swim…

On the aerodynamics side, there are no major changes since Singapore last week. Indeed, most of the configurations from Singapore will be the last innovations of the season. 8 teams out of 10 will finish the season with their current package.

Very beautiful victory for Vettel, for his first steps in F1 on such a demanding circuit. Hamilton in third is also on the podium as a newcomer here… in the end, the only experienced driver ahead is Trulli in the Toyota.

Today’s photos obviously concern the race and the podium.
