Just like Free Practice 3 earlier, the qualifying sessions are also disrupted by adverse weather conditions. Rain floods the track and causes accidents; Liuzzi is the latest victim, having caused a red flag. There are 12 minutes left in Q2.
As of now, Hamilton and Vettel are eliminated from Q1 along with Kovalainen, Heidfeld, and Fisichella. Thunderstorms are still present and in Q2, several accidents caused the session to be interrupted.
12 minutes remaining and for now, Barrichello, Alonso, Trulli, Sutil, and Button are eliminated. Grosjean is 3rd.
