Aerolab, an aerodynamic engineering company, has confirmed a partnership agreement with the new Formula 1 team, Lotus. The operation will see Aerolab and parent company Fondtech assist the Norfolk team in areas such as the design and development of next year’s car.
« We are very excited about this new partnership between us and Lotus F1 Racing, » said Aerolab’s managing director, Jean-Claude Migeot. « I am also confident in the potential of this team as well as the future synergy between Lotus F1 Racing, Fondtech, and Aerolab. The company has already worked with Toyota, Renault, and Force India in Formula 1. »
“It’s great to be able to work again alongside Jean-Claude and his team,” said Lotus technical chief, Mike Gascoyne.
The teams I have been involved with have all undoubtedly benefited from Aerolab’s resources and expertise. Therefore, it was an easy decision to renew this relationship with Lotus F1 Racing. Together, we will produce a competitive car in 2010.
