The team benefited from good track conditions today thanks to dry and sunny weather. A technical issue encountered this morning caused the team to lose track time in the first part of this final day of testing, but they accumulated a good number of kilometers this afternoon.
Robert Kubica – 10th:
« We lost quite a bit of time this morning due to a technical problem. We tried to do a race distance simulation this afternoon but it was interrupted. However, we were able to do a lot of laps. We then went on to work on fine-tuning the car with a few additional runs to improve the car even further. »
Alan Permane – Chief Engineer:
« Our last day of running was mixed. We suffered from a gearbox issue that occurred during the installation lap, which limited our track time. We went out again late in the morning to evaluate new aerodynamic developments and worked on car setup. This afternoon, we tried to simulate a race distance which was interrupted, but we were able to complete the desired number of laps. We ended the day with setup work. »
