HRT- Hispania Racing Team – followed the trend of official launches last month. The Spanish team, for its second season in Formula 1, had presented the F111 via press release and on its official website. This prototype, which was delayed in its construction and development, finally came to light this afternoon on the Barcelona circuit.
The F111 was indeed officially presented today to the media in the presence of the two drivers, Narain Karthikeyan and Vitantonio Liuzzi – confirmed earlier this week.
The F111 was only out for an hour before returning to the garage. An initial warm-up was scheduled for early afternoon but ultimately did not take place. HRT has only one day left for private testing. The team will be one of the few present tomorrow at the Circuit de Catalunya. The F111 will therefore make its debut directly at the Australian Grand Prix in two weeks.
