After a British Grand Prix that was decided in the final laps, the team managers review their respective performances in the race, starting, of course, with Red Bull, with which Mark Webber secured his second victory of the season, reducing his gap in the standings with Fernando Alonso to 13 points.

Red Bull's weekend hadn't started well. But like the weather, everything eventually sorted itself out. The team leaves the circuit near its factory with 40 points and a victory credited to Webber. The Australian wins a second race this season after his victory in Monaco and remains the only one able to compete with Alonso... for now. Vettel is on the podium and hasn't given up either.

It was a matter of a few laps for Fernando Alonso and Ferrari to secure a third victory this season, but the Spaniard, whose F2012 was less comfortable on the Soft tires, couldn't hold off Mark Webber. The championship leader has no regrets, however, as Felipe Massa is pleased to have fought for the podium and contributed to Scuderia now being able to take second place in the constructors' standings.

With two laps to go before the checkered flag, Nico Hülkenberg was holding onto ninth place points, but struggling with a car configured for rain. Eighth and tenth at the finish, the McLaren drivers are disappointed with performances they consider simply insufficient in front of their home crowd, but they believe they did their best. Rainy conditions would likely have suited the MP4-27 better at Silverstone... if only the weather had decided differently. In the standings, Hamilton is 4th and loses two positions with 92 points. Button remains 8th. The team also loses two places in the constructor's standings and is now 4th.

Although finishing the race in 5th and 6th places, the Lotus drivers could have hoped for better. Kimi Räikkönen, however, couldn't make the most of all the opportunities that came his way at the start, while Romain Grosjean broke his front wing in a collision with Paul di Resta and spent the Grand Prix trying to catch up on lost ground.

Involved in a clash with Sergio Pérez after his first stop, Pastor Maldonado ended up having to make an early second stop that ruined his race and was reprimanded by the stewards. Incisive, Bruno Senna delivers the points for 9th place to Williams.

Although starting from third position, Michael Schumacher could only settle for 7th place after suffering from a less well-balanced car on a dry track and on a circuit that did not necessarily suit the W03. Nico Rosberg, for his part, experienced a difficult race after a poor start and a long second pit stop.

After disappointing qualifying, the Sauber drivers could have aimed for points if not for a collision between Sergio Pérez and Pastor Maldonado, which forced the Mexican to retire, and an accident in the pits, for which Kobayashi took responsibility, relegating him out of the points.
