This season, Charles Pic is the third driver for Lotus, waiting for better opportunities. A main driver in 2012 and 2013 with Marussia and Caterham respectively, he has a completely different perspective on the profession this year. MotorsInside caught up with him in the Spa-Francorchamps paddock. The Frenchman reviews his role within the team and his expectations for 2015.

Fernando Alonso managed to secure a spot on the second row of the starting grid for the Belgian Grand Prix behind the two Mercedes and Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull. The Iberian driver is pleased with his performance and expects a good race tomorrow. Kimi Räikkönen, 8th on the grid, didn't have as straightforward an afternoon as his teammate but hopes to make up positions during the race.

Even if the small Scuderia stopped in Q2 due to exhaust problems for Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat narrowly missing Q3, a good race pace could allow them to bring back a few points.

Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button managed to qualify for Q3 despite having setups planned for dry conditions and tomorrow's race. The Dane managed things better and will start in 7th position. The Brit damaged his tires on his fast lap and couldn't improve during his second run, placing 10th on the grid.

For his big debut in F1, André Lotterer couldn't have hoped for better: he managed to outpace his teammate while discovering the handling of a Formula 1 car in the rain! Both Caterhams will start on the last row.

During Q3, the two drivers from the Grove team were hindered by the rain and traffic. Bottas and Massa finished sixth and ninth, respectively. They will count on a fast F1 in dry conditions to gain positions in the race.

Esteban Gutiérrez saw his qualifying session end in Q1 due to a new problem with his Sauber F1. The Mexican driver is disappointed with the current situation but will undoubtedly try to bounce back in the race tomorrow. Things are better for Adrian Sutil, although he will only start 14th tomorrow, but the German has focused his setup for dry conditions, which should help him in the race tomorrow.

Nico Rosberg secured his fourth consecutive pole position while Lewis Hamilton finally managed to have a trouble-free qualifying session. He will therefore start alongside his teammate at Spa.

Jules Bianchi managed to qualify once again for Q2 at Spa-Francorchamps, setting a very good lap in Q1. He will start from 16th position on the grid, three places ahead of Max Chilton, who encountered a problem with his MR03 but is pleased to easily outperform the two Caterhams.

After an especially challenging Friday, Sebastian Vettel was all smiles after finishing as the best of the rest, behind the two Mercedes. As for Daniel Ricciardo, a small mistake cost him time, and he couldn't do better than 5th.

The rain could have allowed Romain Grosjean and Lotus to stand out, but it wasn't the case: the Frenchman had to settle for 15th place. It's still better than Pastor Maldonado, who ended his session in Q1 with the 17th time.

The weather did not favor Nico Hülkenberg, who usually enjoys such challenging conditions. The German driver will have a tough task tomorrow as he did not clear Q1 and will start 18th. As for Sergio Pérez, he couldn't make it to Q3 and will start from 13th place.
