The Sauber team saw its two drivers have slightly different days today. Kamui Kobayashi had a problem with his car during the first free practice session, which forced him to stay in the garage for almost an hour without being able to drive, but the Japanese driver is still satisfied with his car. After this first day of testing, it seems that the Toro Rosso team is less on form than in the last two Grand Prix. Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen are delighted with the test day that just ended in Abu Dhabi. The two Team Lotus drivers were able to work without encountering any issues with their car. They were able to test both types of tires in different situations and found that the degradation was less significant than usual. They therefore hope to do well tomorrow during the qualifications and then on Sunday during the race.
