The Brazilian Grand Prix was a great success for the Marussia F1 team and its two drivers. The Russian team managed to maintain its 10th place in the constructors' championship against Caterham. Max Chilton saw the checkered flag for the 19th time in 19 races - a new rookie record - and Jules Bianchi once again finished ahead of the surviving Caterham of Giedo van der Garde and his teammate.

Nico Rosberg suffered from severe degradation of his rear tires, which cost him after an excellent start. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, was penalized following his collision with Valtteri Bottas but still finished in the points.

For the last race of the season, the Williams F1 team leaves Brazil empty-handed. Valtteri Bottas didn't even see the checkered flag after retiring following a contact with Hamilton. Pastor Maldonado didn't shine in his final race with the Grove team, finishing 16th.

The FIA imposed sanctions on Saturday in Brazil, with the Marussia team receiving a fine following the qualifying session, and Max Chilton and Esteban Gutiérrez each receiving a reprimand for an infringement during Free Practice 3.
