During the qualifications, Valtteri Bottas was clocked 5 km/h above the pit lane speed limit. The driver is penalized 100 euros per km/h above the limit.

McLaren has been fined €5,000 by the FIA for releasing Norris from their garage in a dangerous manner during qualifying. The fine is imposed on the team and not the driver.

The French driver Pierre Gasly, affiliated with AlphaTauri (a branch of Red Bull) for several seasons and still for the 2023 season, will be allowed to leave his team if an agreement is reached with Alpine. Marko, the head of driver development, confirmed this over the weekend at Zandvoort.

If Audi has made its official announcement, it's still not the case for Porsche. Both engine manufacturers are expected to arrive in 2026, but no chassis team has yet announced its partnership with either of the two engine manufacturers. There are some new additions to the Zandvoort circuit this weekend, but one highly anticipated test was the new DRS zone that now starts at the beginning of the last corner. The successful test should allow for this solution to be kept for Sunday's race.

After his retirement in the middle of Free Practice 1, Max Verstappen changed his gearbox to reuse a previous version in Free Practice 2. Red Bull inspected this gearbox again this morning.
